As an owner of hairless standard Xoloitzcuintli and the owner of a dog training business that serves all types of dogs around western Washington, I can not say enough good things about this training tool.
When I got my first Xolo I was frustrated at managing his skin with the traditional prong collars I was used to using; they were too firm for him, and had a tendency to irritate his skin if used consistently. Not with this collar. Since buying him the Training Collar, I have had little to no issues with irritating my dogs' skin, even in dry months and odd weather.
Practically speaking, I can use it exactly the same as a traditional prong collar, applying and releasing pressure in conjunction with food, play, and affection as reward. But with this collar, I can deliver a more appropriate level of pressure to touch-sensitive dogs and dogs with short coats (or in my personal dogs' case, no coat at all).
My only complaint is I truly wish there was an option for truly small dogs. I use a 2.2 on my large and medium dogs, and would love a truly small link size such as the 1.5mm micro prong from Kimberland. Professionally, the 2.2mm Training Collar is just too big for most small breeds but I would really love to be able to recommend a SMALL Training Collar for clients with boston terriers, pomeranians, dachshunds, etc. If you're strictly using a collar like this to give you leverage over a dog that pulls, maybe a truly small size doesn't make sense. But as a trainer who uses the leash for feedback and communication, I would very much like to see small dogs have access to a collar like this.
That said, when your biggest complaint is "I wish there were more of these," it's hard to be mad. I recommend the Training Collar to clients pretty regularly (even sent a client home with one yesterday!) and plan to continue for as long as they continue to make a lovely product that helps dogs and humans thrive.
I also wrote a comprehensive comparison of the Training Collar to traditional prong collars (which I do still use for some dogs) on my blog:

Ultimately, this collar came out on top and is my overall favorite leash tool. Me and my hairless crew thank you!
Very impressive…… in 4 training “sessions” my 4 month old German Wirehair went from pullling and fighting the leash to walking at heel with very little to no leash pressure!!!
Love the design of the Kind collar. Ive used pinch collars for yrs. In the right hands they've been great. But these gentle no pinch prongs are so kind!! And work better and i feel better using it on my dogs! Thank you so much! And a thanks for my friend and trainer's recommendation !!
